Google Business Profiles for Real Estate – Class 1: Complete Your Profile

Today, we’re focusing on the real nitty-gritty, essential aspects of Google Business. We’ll cover everything from citations and custom services to reviews, logos, and products. And don’t worry about spending a boatload of money; I’ve got practical tips that won’t break the bank.

  1. Your Business Name & Categories: Did you know that your business name can impact how you’re found? Add keywords and make sure it’s named accurately. And don’t forget about your primary and secondary categories. Super important, and if you get it wrong, it’s gonna hurt your ranking.
  2. Business Description: Used to be a big ranking factor, but now, not so much. Still, you can use it to tell people where you serve your clients. And the first person versus third person? That’s a toss-up.
  3. Opening Date & Contact Info: Put in the date you got licensed. It helps with conversion ranking. And make sure your phone number matches everywhere – Google, Zillow, your website, etc. It all adds up!
  4. Location, Service Areas, Business Hours: Use a physical mailing address, and choose the counties you serve. And hey, make your business hours 24/7. Why not?
  5. Other Cool Features: Don’t overlook the details! From wheelchair accessibility to language support, click those buttons if they apply to you. And have you heard about local service ads? You pay only if someone clicks to call or message you. Super successful!
