Realtors Have ChatGPT Reflect Your Personality.
I use ChatGPT to generate a lot of content. One of the challenges is to make it sound like it’s more of my writing style which eventually requires a lot of editing. However, you can train ChatGPT to generate content that is more in line with your own personal style. So how do you do this?
Provide a Writing Sample
The first thing you need to do is provide ChatGPT with a sample of your writing style. Hopefully, you are a prolific writer and have some to provide. I went over the blogs I wrote and found one that I was particularly proud of that I wrote several years ago and posted on LinkedIn called “7 Startup Lessons from a Paper Airplane Contest”
The prompt I entered was:
Evaluate my blog and analyze my writing style: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/7-startup-lessons-from-paper-airplane-contest-rich-foreman
Note that this requires that you have the paid version of ChatGPT and use the Browse with Bing Feature (see blog, Using ChatGPT’s Browse with Bing for Real Estate Marketing Research). If you don’t have any published writing samples, you can copy and paste the entire text of your writing sample. My recommendation is that your writing sample be around 800 words.
The Evaluation
From my prompt, ChatGPT returned this response:
I followed up with this prompt:
Write a prompt that encapsulates my writing style so that I can use it in my custom instructions on the setting of my ChatGPT account.
And got this response:
I edited the response and entered this in my custom instructions. See the blog, Real Estate Agents: Leveraging ChatGPT Custom Instructions.
Experiment
To test out the custom instructions, I had ChatGPT summarize a couple of article and the results were quite flowery and nowhere near my tone.
I edited the feedback the instructions as follows and conducted follow up testing and found the results more in line with my writing style.
Final Thoughts
If find that you use ChatGPT quite a bit, you should take the time to have it analyze your writing style and incorporate the analysis into your custom instructions. You’ll find that the results generated will be more similar to your writing style.
